Well said Jeff. If people actually took the time to look at the Democrats website they'd realise that they DO have policies - and bloody good ones too. If people took the time to look at what the Democrats have achieved they'd realise they've done a BRILLIANT job. The only people who criticise the Australian Democrats are lazy, ignorant peole who are unwilling to make even the slightest effort to become informed of the policies of the party. I, for one, am incredibly grateful for the efforts of the Australian Democrats and congratulate all in the party for their incredible achievements over the past 30 years and hope that they continue their brilliant work for another 30 years. The Dems hardly present the illusion of choice. The issue sheets on the Dems website provide over 125 examples of "real choices."

The lack of media coverage is not through want of trying. All minor parties are struggling with exposure. Short of advertising, which is bloody expensive, there is little more the Dems can do.

Its a shame that the Democrats dont push for more media attention and actually get stuck into the electoral proceedings, since the announcement of the election i havent seen ANY coverage of the Democrats on TV or in the papers. Why?
