That's risky business. I don't think a positive vote would have saved Sylvia and Mario this year unfortunately, they were gonners either way, but it would almost certainly have saved Grace and Sezer in BB7. :-(

No, I think it should be positive nominations and positive votes every week. The big characters would then mostly stay. People like Rachel who are manic during their VT but then dull in the house should be automatically ejected after a fortnight.

The ratings for BB9 were the lowest ever...3.2 million average. Compare that to 5.8million for BB3, where there were a lot fewer shows (no Big Mouth, no Diary Room Uncut, h/l shows half an hour long, many of the HMs dull and boring). Something is wrong now.

IMHO BB8 killed the franchise, and CBB5 put the final nail in its coffin. Russell Brand leaving, followed by Dermot just cemented the end game. It would be fitting if this was the last ever BBUK...won by the most dull person ever to appear on TV...with BBLB presented by the worst person ever to get a job on TV (Zezi)...and with BBBM presented mostly by anonymous no marks.

And I think you will find, the most memorable does always win. Let's see there is Brian Dowling from BB2, Brian Belo from BB8,can someone please help me to disprove this guys point. Science didn't win,or did Shahbaz.Shit.

Personally, I don't think Rachel is fake. i think she is a genuinely nice person who deserves to win on some level. As a person, I will no longer deny that. However, as a HM she was dull quite honestly. In my opinion, Rex, Mikey, Mario, Lisa,Bex and Alex all provided entertainment, and with the exception of the latter, would have been more desrving winners. Even Dennis had entertainment value, although he was a vile piece of scat with overactive salivary galnds. I find it funny that people who said Dale and Stuart were dull accept Rachel winning. Anyway,it's over now and let the ratings speak for themselves.

I would have happy if Mikey won also. He's not a wannabe as you say. And personally I think, yes, he would have been a more deserved winner.

However, in many series the most desrving person hasn't won. As I said in one of my previous posts, the most memerobale housemate of the series rarely wins.

Just because Mikey perhaps desrved to win because he was more opininoated, doesn't make Rachel's a poor winner. She's better than the crap we've had over the last 3 years. (I know you disagree with me on this front!)

Well, Mikey certainly wasn't a wannabe. He's just a regular guy. He hasn't acted from the age of 8 and pushed himself forward in beauty contests and even cheated in a vain bid to win them. Rachel's aim was to raise her profile and win herself acting and modelling work. Mikey's aim was to show society that being blind need not be the end of an active life. He was himself from day one, even when that made him unpopular. Rachel backed down in every argument and let Rex and others treat her like a doormat rather than express an opinion.
